Welcome to the Christ United Methodist Church website. I don't know how you've come to find this page, but I sure am glad you are here. My name is Rev. Brittany Hutchison. I have the honor of serving as the pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Leesburg, Florida. My husband, Denny, my bonus daughters, Jubilee, Clementine, Amelia, and I arrived at Christ UMC in July of 2023. Though, our story is just the most recent chapter of a long history for Christ UMC. The church began in 1960 when a group from Morrison started a new church in the Beverly Shores neighborhood. Throughout our history, our church has been the neighborhood church that loves God and loves people. I'd like to extend an invitation to you to join us on a Sunday morning for worship. Our service officially begins at 9 AM, but we do have an informal hymn sing and a time of greeting your neighbor (passing of the peace) that begins at 8:45. You can come in your Sunday best or your flip flops. We'll just be glad to see you with us. Following worship is a time of discipleship for adults.
